Certified Organic Since Day One

Certified Organic Since Day One

For over 25 years, organic has not been a trend for us. It has been our certified commitment from the very beginning.

Karine & Jeff has been certified organic from the very first day.

More than 25 years ago, when we began cooking our recipes, this choice was not a marketing position. It was not a trend. It was simply the only way that made sense to us.

And for us, organic has never meant adding one or two organic ingredients to a recipe.

It means building the whole recipe within a certified organic commitment. The vegetables, the grains, the legumes, the herbs, the spices: everything that makes the recipe must follow the same standard of care.

This certification matters.

It requires controls, traceability, discipline, and consistency. It also represents a real cost. In our case, the same recipe must meet organic certification requirements in France and in the United States. We accept this because certification is the only way to make the promise clear, serious, and verifiable.

Organic cooking begins before the recipe.

It begins in the field, with farming practices that help protect the living world around us. Healthier soils. Cleaner water. More biodiversity. A different relationship to the land.

For us, this has always mattered.

Because food is never only about what is on the plate. It is also about everything that made that food possible: the seed, the soil, the farmer, the rain, the season, the harvest.

Choosing certified organic means choosing to keep unnecessary chemicals away from the food we eat. It also means supporting a way of farming that looks beyond the immediate yield, toward the future of the land.

This conviction has shaped every recipe we make.

The vegetables we select. The grains and legumes we cook. The herbs and spices we use. The way we build flavour without shortcuts.

Certified organic is part of our taste. Part of our responsibility. Part of who we are.

After more than 25 years, we still cook from the same place: with the belief that good food should respect the earth and remain simple, honest, and full of life.
