La Cuisine Nature: every recipe begins with what the ingredients already have to offer.

A WORD FROM OUR KITCHEN
We are Karine
and Jeff.
Karine dreams up the recipes, chooses the ingredients that go into them and cooks them. Jeff builds the relationships with the producers and partners who make them possible.
Since 2000, we have grown this House with one shared wish: to share what we love to cook.
OUR KITCHEN
Come in, we’ve been cooking.
From lunch to dinner, from seasonal Bentos to pantry recipes.

Lunch
Lunch, in a jar. Recipes thought out like a plate, to go with your weekday lunches.

Dinner
Soup, through the week. Five recipes chosen to bring back, in the evening, the simple pleasure of a good soup.

Bentos
Another take on lunch. Seasonal compositions, complete and numbered, made for the middle of the day.

Grocery
The recipes to keep at home to extend your own cooking. To open, to serve or to cook with, giving a meal a different feel.
What makes the recipe
A sauce that coats, a herb that perfumes, a note of acidity. And the urge to come back.

A place at the table
Lunch is imagined as a plate in its own right. The Ritual sets soup as an evening rendez-vous. Grocery joins your pots, your dishes and your urge to improvise, and extends your own cooking.

La Cuisine Nature
We cook each ingredient according to its nature. A carrot is not cooked like a lentil, a spice is not worked like a herb. We look for balance rather than effect: a recipe that is just right, still leaving room for your own cooking.

Where our recipes come from
Our inspirations take root in our lives: at the foot of Kilimanjaro, around a family table, on the way home from a journey. Many of our recipes carry a story we lived.
JOURNAL
The stories behind the cooking.
For more than twenty-five years, our cooking has kept the trace of the places we have lived, the journeys, the encounters and the moments that shaped us. The seasons set the rhythm.
OUR KITCHEN
What we call La Cuisine Nature
A way of cooking that starts from what the ingredients already have to offer, respects their nature and seeks balance rather than effect.
MATERIALS
Glass, from the very beginning
Since our beginnings, glass has been part of our cooking. It protects, shows, preserves, and over time it has become part of our signature.
JOURNEYS
The soup born at the foot of Kilimanjaro
One evening, on our family journey across Africa, an encounter at the foot of Kilimanjaro would give birth, years later, to one of our recipes richest in memories.
REAL QUESTIONS
Before you choose
How do I reheat the jars?
In a saucepan, a few minutes are enough. In the microwave, simply remove the lid: the jar can be heated directly. Particularly handy for lunch at the office.
What is The Week by Karine & Jeff?
The Week by Karine & Jeff is our way of thinking about the midday meal in a jar. The recipes are imagined as plates in their own right. With The Week by Karine & Jeff, each lunch brings together a dish and a ¼ litre soup: five lunches for the five days of the week.
What is The Ritual?
The Ritual is five soups chosen for five evenings of the week. An evening rendez-vous that gives soup a real place in the rhythm of the week.
How do the jars keep?
Unopened, the jars keep at room temperature. Each jar shows its best before date on the label. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and enjoy it within two days.
Can I choose my recipes?
Yes. You can freely choose your recipes à la carte. The Week by Karine & Jeff and The Ritual offer a ready-made selection.
